Welcome!

Our very first post!  Our names are Kim and Laura.  We are school counselors in Alabama, which may explain our choice of a blog name, Counselor Accents.  We do speak with a little bit of a Southern Accent.  The other reason we chose this name is because we want to share ideas and techniques that accent what you are already doing with your school counseling program.  Our ultimate goal is to share and help others.  That’s the heart of the counselor, right?!  We realize that when you collaborate with a counselor friend, you double the creativity, ideas, and techniques.  That’s what we hope to do through our blog and social media.  We can’t wait to expand our circle by adding YOU to our friends list!  Check us out and add us on social media!
